I unlocked the classroom and Tamiln was there a my side eager to help. I had to communicate with her very clearly to explain what she needed to do but she did not always do thing that needed muscles like taking the chairs down from the table or carrying water up the stairs. I was happy to do it as it reminds me of my morning gym routine.

Tamlin helped by putting out the primary colours and painting water . I came in and demonstrated how to paint a flower from life. Many of the kids could not do that, they did not have the focus in looking, they just kept there heads down and drew a flower from memory. A group of kids gathered around and worked calmly.

Some helped clean up but were not very good at it. I would ask them to finish the job and then they would start cleaning something else! At a certain point they needed to complete something. They were making more mess than progress.
