A day in a beautiful park. I make my own bay with prints and stands. Next year I will get a number and fit into the existing grid of other artists better. They are out of this shot. I do feel more creative when I can lay out circles and put up my work. I think it gives a better energy flow through the space. Lovely day wonderful heartfelt happy people.
Mother, on show at the Cape Gallery‘Active woman’ was unable to get any people coming in physically due to Lock down, a response to the Co-vid 19 pandemic. Four months later after staying in to keep healthy, contagion free I am putting up Mother. It is a response to the violence in policing that has been occurring world wide. The incident of the killing of George Floyd in US is a reminder that no amount of planning and security will keep us well, we must be kind. I call the mother home she is stronger than any violence she sits and waits in her house.
